Marin Enterprise Group ("Company," "we," "us," or "our") operates the mobile application ASVAB Ready (the "App"). We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting it through our compliance with this policy.

This Privacy Policy describes the types of information we may collect from you or that you may provide when you download, install, access, or use the ASVAB Ready application, and our practices for collecting, using, maintaining, protecting, and disclosing that information.

1. Information We Collect and How We Collect It

We collect information from and about users of our App directly when you provide it to us, and automatically as you navigate through the App.

A. Information You Provide Directly

  • Account Information: If you create an account, we may collect your name, email address, and authentication credentials.

  • User Input & Study Data: Quiz scores, study progress, flashcard preferences, and practice test results generated while using the App.

  • Customer Support: Information you provide when contacting customer support or requesting assistance.

B. Information Collected Automatically

  • Usage Details: Time spent on specific modules, features used, and interaction metrics.

  • Device Information: Device model, operating system version, unique device identifiers, and basic diagnostic/crash data.

Note: ASVAB Ready does NOT collect precise location data, financial identifiers, or sensitive contact lists.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide, maintain, and improve the core functionality of ASVAB Ready.

  • Track and display your study progress and test preparation performance.

  • Diagnose technical issues, repair bugs, and optimize App stability.

  • Respond to customer service inquiries and support requests.

  • Comply with legal and regulatory obligations.

3. Disclosure and Sharing of Your Information

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data to third parties for marketing or advertising purposes.

We may share aggregated or anonymized data that does not identify any individual with service providers who assist in operating our application (e.g., cloud hosting, crash report analytics). Any third-party service provider accessing user data is bound by contractual obligations to keep personal information confidential and to provide equal levels of data protection.

We may also disclose your information:

  • To comply with any court order, law, or legal process.

  • To enforce our rights arising from any contracts entered into between you and us.

A. Data Retention

We retain your personal data only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this policy or as required to comply with legal requirements.

B. Account & Data Deletion

Under Apple App Store guidelines, you have the right to request full deletion of your personal data and account. You may initiate a data or account deletion request by:

  1. Navigating to Settings > Account > Delete Account directly inside the ASVAB Ready app.

  2. Sending an explicit deletion request via email to support@marinenterprisegroup.com.

Upon receipt of a valid request, all associated personal data and study metrics will be permanently deleted from our active databases within 30 days.

5. How to Revoke Consent

If you have granted permission for specific data collection or notifications (such as push notifications or local storage), you may revoke your consent at any time by:

  • Opting out of push notifications within the App settings.

6. Security

We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and physical measures to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. However, no security system is completely impenetrable, and we cannot guarantee 100% security of our systems.

7. Children's Privacy

ASVAB Ready is not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn we have collected or received personal information from a child under 13 without verification of parental consent, we will delete that information immediately.

8. Changes to Our Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date. Continued use of the App after modifications constitutes your acceptance of the revised Privacy Policy.
